Always tough to leave, to miss the ‘excitement,’ to leave our homes to the mercy of natural and idiots. Still, I’d say prepare to go. Godspeed.

Be prepared, which includes taking some Clash tunes for the evacuation.

Et tu Brute?!?!?!
Bah, we’re not gettin’ stormage! The thing is 1300 MILES away. *sigh* I’m so outvoted. I guess I”ll have to start posting about it now

Wise words, Tree & Erster.
Pistolette, in years past I would be tut-tutting and watching too at this point. This year I have my in-laws living with me. One is in a wheelchair and one requires a walker. My concern is them and whether or not to try to evacuate with them (husband won’t leave) or stay. It’s a logistic and healthcare issue.
I’m leaning toward staying.

I just posted about this on my blog…I guess it is weighing heavily on everyone who went through Katrina.
I am leaving town just ahead of it, but I feel guilty!
