There’s a big red spot on my eye today.
It’s a brand new thing since yesterday…….

I made a comment on Gentilly Girl Wednesday in response to her post about our illustrious D.A. trying to weasel out of paying up after losing the discrimination suit brought against him and every last appeal too. I said, “I swear this man’s gonna make me pop a blood vessel. It’s WAY PAST outrageous that WE have to pay for HIS racism.”

This morning I awoke to a big red spot on my eyeball….I assume it is a popped blood vessel. Could it have been *insert Twilight Zone music* a premonition? Anyway, King of Pain has been running through my head all day…..instead of “a little black dot on the sun”, my head-voice sings “a big red dot on my eye”……
Ironically enough, in reading the lyrics to this song I think they apply quite well to da hat, with a little bit ‘o word change:

There’s a little black spot on the sun today
It’s the same old thing as yesterday
There’s a black hat caught in a high tree top

So….oh yeah, I plan to go on a local news fast this week-end…no news! Ignorance is bliss!
